Branding for Art of Solace: Art of Solace is an inspirational page on Instagram that focuses on (mental) health, self-love and art. They share inspirational quotes combined with aesthetic visuals from other artists that bring ‘daily art as solace for the mind’. They believe that once you start healing yourself, you cause a ripple effect that helps heal the world simultaneously. We created a subtle logo with this in mind. We have chosen for a soft letter ‘S’ that resembles the word ‘solace’, and sharp edges of the letter ‘A’ that resembles the word ‘art’ as art is the main focus of this brand. Based on their Instagram feed, we have chosen for earthly tones in the background, specifically a biblical image that references to the word ‘art’.
